Bar/Saw Loaders
The patented Bar/Saw Loader demonstrates ingenuity at work. It provides a unique and productive solution for loading bar stock onto a saw or saws. Developed as a safer and more efficient method of moving bar stock than a jib crane or a gantry crane, the innovative Bar/Saw Loader will become any band saw operator’s most indispensable piece of material handling equipment.
Can be used for (single saw or multiple saws) and requiring only a single operator, the Bar/Saw Loader accommodates a wide variety of tube and bar lengths, widths and diameters. To use, the operator simply lifts a single bar or banded bars with a forklift and places it on the “Main Frame” of the loader. You then place the “Safety Pins” to the outside of the bar or bundled bars. That would be four “Safety Pins”. If it is a bundle, you can then safely cut the bundle and the bars will fall in a single layer on the top of the “Main Frame”. Next space the bars out on the “Main Frame” so that you pick up the desired bar or bars. Then manually roll the “Carriage” under the bar(s) you desire to lift. From the pendant you fully actuate the corresponding hydraulic lifters located below the bar(s). Then manually roll the “Carriage” positioning bar(s) to align with your saw and support roller assemblies. Lower the lifters so that the bar stock rests on the saw and support rollers. Manually reposition the “Carriage” back under the “Main Frame” out of the way and ready to move the next bar(s). Now safely roll your bar stock into your saw and start your sawing operation.
The Bar/Saw Loader features V-Groove steel wheels that roll easily on an inverted “V” track that keeps debris from building up and allows for easy cleaning. The Bar/Saw Loader also features a changeable Wear Plate on top of the Main Frame enabling many years of bar loading. The Main Frame can be manufactured to accommodate any width to meet your needs depending on the length of raw material used. When used in conjunction with the adjustable (Quad-Pod) and/or fix (Dual-Roller) support option multiple saws can be loaded with a single Bar/Saw Loader.
Using the Bar/Saw Loader drastically reduces the chances of injuries during your sawing operations.
